Andrew Mukupakatandula is the Managing Director of Minera Refineries Zambia Limited.

He brings extensive business leadership experience. strong multi-sector relationships, and an entrepreneurial track record spanning value chain distribution, retail, agriculture, construction, insurance, logistics and transportation.

Andrew has been instrumental in advancing Minera’s vision to become a trusted leader in Zambia’s gold industry. He champions responsible mining practices, transparency, and accountability, and is committed to building systems that deliver sustainable value for stakeholders.

Passionate about national development, Andrew is dedicated to contributing to Zambia’s economic growth through sound governance and sustainable business practices.  

Thomson Chilombo Fungwa is currently serving as the Business Manager & Executive Assistant at Minera Refineries Zambia Limited.

He supports executive decision-making and coordinates operations, finance, and stakeholder engagement.

His background spans credit recovery, FMCG sales operations and commercial analysis, business development, and commercial analysis support for an Insurtech/telecoms vendor.

Thomson holds a BSc in Economics from the Copperbelt University and is passionate about entrepreneurship and building ventures that create jobs, strengthen local value chains, and contribute meaningfully to Zambia’s economy.
